In preparation for the 2025 tax filing season, The Korea Times U.S. Headquarters and the Korean-American Certified Public Accountants Association of Southern California (KACPA) will co-host the 36th Annual Tax Filing Seminar on Thursday, February 13, at 1:00 PM (Pacific Time). The webinar will be available to Koreans across the United States.

The free tax filing seminar, first co-hosted by The Korea Times and KACPA in 1989, marks its 36th anniversary this year. Held annually during the tax filing season, the seminar has established itself as a premier source of information, providing Korean-American taxpayers and businesses with the latest updates, practical advice, and solutions for tax filing preparation.

This year’s seminar will feature expert speakers from KACPA, including Korean-American CPAs, who will explain new tax laws, changes, and key considerations for individual and business tax filings. Topics such as reporting overseas income and assets will also be covered in an easy-to-understand manner, offering valuable insights and strategies.

The seminar will focus on three main topics, moderated by Philip Son, CPA:

Individual Income Tax Filing (Presenter: Stanley Cha, CPA)

Preparing for IRS Audits and Increased Enforcement (Presenter: James Cha, CPA)

Reporting Overseas Income and Financial Assets (Presenter: Peter Son, CPA)
